Play Consultant - Adelaide & Online

We are in the business of play, empowering parents and seeing children thrive. 

Through our 1:1 consultation we share ‘tried and tested’ ways to manage challenging times at home, at school and on the go.

Our 1:1 consultation include the following:

• 20 minute initial phone consultation
• 60 minute in person/zoom consultation
• 20 minute follow-up consultation
• written summary/working plan 

The process

Once you book a consultation with us, we will contact you working 2 business days to make a date and time for the initial consultation. 

20 minute initial phone consultation

This is a great opportunity for you to share some information about your child and family, including current needs, challenges, resources and strategies. 

 Behind the scenes

Based on the information shared with us in the initial consultation, we’ll create a written summary/working plan that includes play based strategies as well as some ‘play planning’ ideas to save you time and energy. 

60 minute in person/zoom consultation

During this time we get to share the written summary/working plan with you, and show you some images and examples of some of the strategies. In addition we’ll recommend some resources for you to source.

 The fun part

Over the following 4 weeks you get to try out some of the suggested strategies, and adapt them to suit your child and family. At the 3 week mark, we’ll contact you to make a date and time for the follow-up consultation.

20 minute follow-up consultation

We like to check in and see how things are going. 4 weeks gives you enough time to go over the written summary/working plan, as well as try out some of the suggested strategies. You’ll have the opportunity to share with us what is working, and what needs to be modified.
